Loaf X Loaf # 15 | Still sharing my creative winter as I knead and bake homemade bread. And yes, the house smells delish! |
I've been busy exposing a bit more of myself within Tamara Laporte's VEDIF Challenge. She is an amazing, mixed-media artist, creating a joyous life in England with her husband and two adorable sons. Vivid, powerful color adds depth of her paintings and a buoyancy to her spirit. Click on her beautiful face; it will take you to her fantastic website! |
This challenge is so much more than just turning the camera around and filming myself. The prompts Tam gives to keep on topic are deeper than usual conversations of weather and the daily busy-ness of life. Topics range from what inspires me, to what stops me and from my chosen phrase for 2016 to my thoughts on the quiet.
Through my umms, the missed days and the race to catch back up, I'm learning to be okay with being flawed. I challenged myself even more by publicly releasing these UNEDITED! Public speaking has always unnerved me. I am always flooded with not-enough-isms, which makes it hard to concentrate on the next spoken word.
One of the best unexpected perks of this vlogging process is how I am gaining even the slightest momentum. Just verbalizing plans, dreams, and processes is getting the ball rolling on several projects that have laid stagnant for . . . longer than they should.
