Loaf by Loaf # 11This week or so has been absolutely stunning. Some pictures are super saturated with color by mother nature and some are tweaked a bit more by me. While snapping pictures, I feel linked to old memories as I capture future ones. All the while, anchoring myself to the present moment. Each time I went outside, nostalgia washed over me. I tried to capture those "I-will-remember-this-forever" moments. Awestruck! Time ticks past slower here. |
The beginning thoughts on one of my next projects. I've never painted pooches before. Pleased with these two neighbor dogs, poor little D & Wannago. Working in acrylics, I realize in its refining, most of this will get tweaked, exaggerated and covered up. Totally enjoying the freedom of those first few layers. | Get the idea down on paper already! |
Closing with a sliver of the moon with "earthshine". Rick and I will head to Gardiner or Livingston soon for more groceries. It's looking like Old Mother Hubbard's cupboard in our fridge. Our only veggies have been canned or frozen for a while. Ran out of eggs a week ago. Down to the last cup or two of milk. But, we still have fresh bread! Livin' like kings!
